Air Fryer Mozzarella Sticks
These homemade air fryer mozzarella sticks are the perfect cheesy snack or appetizer. Made in minutes with minimal oil, they’re healthier than deep-fried versions and packed with flavor. Serve with marinara sauce for a crowd-pleasing treat!

- 8 mozzarella string cheese sticks 224g total
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs beaten
- 2/3 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- Cooking spray or olive oil spray
Freeze the mozzarella sticks for 30 minutes on a tray.
Add flour to one bowl, eggs to another, and breadcrumbs with cheese and seasonings in the third.
Dip each stick in flour, then egg, then breadcrumb mixture—coat completely.
Optional: freeze again for 10 minutes for a firmer coating.
Spray your air fryer basket lightly with oil.
Place sticks in a single layer without touching.
Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 5–7 minutes, flipping halfway.
Serve hot with marinara, ranch, or your favorite dip.
